nEna is a name that carries memory, love, and legacy. It was my grandmother’s nickname. A strong, humble, and hardworking woman. My love for coffee began in her home, nurtured by my grandparents’ hands. I still remember my grandfather, even when very ill, secretly giving me my first sips of coffee as a toddler a small act of joy and mischief that sparked a lifelong passion.

The capital “E” in nEna honors my mother’s name and my second name, Elizabeth, connecting generations in a single word. This brand is more than coffee; it is a tribute to roots, and to the small Colombian town where I grew up among nature, mountains, fields and a coffee.

At nEna, we are committed to respecting the people and the land behind every cup. Our coffee comes from farmers like Diego, who shares our values: care for the environment, biodiversity, and the communities that make coffee possible. Through our work, we hope to bring these stories to the Netherlands, connecting people, memories, and cultures over coffee. 
nEna exists to celebrate real people, honor heritage, and show that passion, respect, and dedication can create extraordinary opportunities and memories.
