Honey Coffee Beans

Single-origin coffee beans. This 100% Arabica coffee is mountain-grown at 1.600 m.a.s.l. The beans are handpicked and honey processed. In the honey process, the beans are dried with part of the cherry’s juices still attached, allowing natural sugars to remain on the bean during drying.
This careful sun-drying gives the coffee a lighter color, a smooth body, and sweet notes from the juices of the cherry. After the beans have dried they are selected so in the roasting the quality stays.
Because the sugars are preserved, the roast is kept lighter to medium, avoiding dark roasting to prevent burnt flavors and to protect its natural sweetness.
